About Mount Upton Pulling

We are a group of volunteers who want to help those in need in a fun and safe way. In this day and age the need for help and support varies Widely. More and more familys are facing major illnesses in both children and adults as well as catastrophic losses from fires, floods, and other natural disasters. There is a greater and greater need for giving a helping hand. All of us enjoy some sort of recreation. We enjoy truck and tractor pulling. As a result we decided to try and reach into the heart and soul of truck and tractor pulling to help our commuity. We are family orientated organization with a following of terrific people that believe as we do in helping those in need.

Our funds are raised from the profits by the events that we orginize and hold. We have a dedicated group of volunteers who donate their time, equipment, and services at all of our events. We also receive donations of equipment, materials, and food for the event from our sponsors. Any funding by our generous sponsors is used in a manner as directed by the sponsor. All of the profits from these events are used to either improve the safety and the grounds for future events or to improve the lives of those in need. As an orginization we have decided to distribute our funds based on a majority vote of our dedicated volunteers. Our goal is to help those in need.

We believe that if we can start by helping one person or family it will spawn a chain reaction of goodness. In-turn they will help someone and the cycle will continue. It's our hope that this philosophy of "Pay it Forward" will one day bring an end to needless suffering of others.
